Language, Identity, and Equity: The Impact of Dual Language Immersion
Panel Discussion/Presentation
Please join us in welcoming invited speaker April Charlo on February 24. April is an advocate for the indigenous Salish community in Montana and previously served as the Executive Director of the NkWusm Salish Language Institute. Her talk, Language, Identity, and Equity: The Impact of Dual Language Immersion, will shed light on how language immersion programs can be modeled to strengthen minoritized communities and close the achievement gap for American Indian students. Please join us via Zoom if you are unable to attend in person: https://usu-edu.zoom.us/j/87437513142?pwd=fWt1l1lJ4y4EXUZsyU3yDECvUofEsi.1
